We are looking for guys who would be a good fit for our house and that are looking to get more out of the college experience than the average student. What stands out are potential new members who are aiming to be leaders and looking to better themselves and those around them.
At AGR we keep ourselves busy with fall camp trip, winter formal, spring formal in Canada, date dashes, brotherhoods, weekly exchanges with sororities and many more events. When living with 50 plus guys it's hard to not find something to do.

We are one of the biggest chapters on campus with 62 active members including 8 live-in seniors. Grades are very important to us and in order to have exchanges with sororities at WSU a house must have a minimum 2.8 overall GPA. We have not been on a tier and been among the top in grades every year since the current members have joined the fraternity.

Spring 2009 - 3.01
Fall 2008 - 3.07
Spring 2008- 3.06
Fall 2007 - 2.93
Spring 2007 - 2.97
Fall 2006 - 2.86
Spring 2006 - 2.95
Fall 2005 - 2.89

Going greek is one of the best decisions you could make in your college career. The best advice I could give you is to be yourself when meeting with fraternities and educate yourself about the houses so you know which is best for you. If you are interested in the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity please fill out the application below and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Recruitment Application

The Process
1. The Chapter recruits prospects in their homes prior to their arrival on campus. Followup continues once the recruit gets to college. Early contact ensures top quality candidates.

2. The Chapter decides when a candidate has been properly screened, then decides whether or not to extend a bid.

3. Once the bid has been accepted, and prior to initiation, the prospective member must agree to live up to the Fraternity's and Chapter's specific Basic Expectations.

4. Prospective member signs AGR Covanant.

5. The prospect pays his initiation fee in full.

6. A Big Brother is assigned to assume a leadership role in the new Brother's education, assimilation and participation in the day-to-day life of the Chapter.

7. Initiation occurs within 72 hours of acceptance of the bid.

8. Big and Little Brothers meet weekly to set personal, educational, and AGR goals, and to review progress.

9. All Brothers work to obtain all other Brother's signatures and biographical information.

10. New Brothers are tested on Alpha Gamma Rho.

11. Chapter programming promotes Brotherhood, bonding, and Chapter unity.

12. Each Brother is held accountable, through a vote by his peers held twice yearly, for his record of meeting the Fraternity's and Chapter's specific Basic Expectation.
